Take 100gms of pure New Zealand butter and place into the Butter Bell® Crock– push it down to fit, I use a coffee press or a paper towel and my palm. Then fill the container with 1/3 cup of cold water. Ivert the Butter Bell® Crock into the container. It works by sealing the butter from the air, this stops the butter going rancid and keeps it at a perfect spreadable consistency.
Change the water every couple of days for perfect fresh spreadable butter every time.
This is the way the French keep their butter and they know a lot about good food.
